Lightning Protection UK Group are a family business based in Nottingham, we have been trading for just over 5 years and are very proud of our achievements to date. LPUK are searching for a suitable candidate to take on the role of Lightning Protection Engineer working as a part of a reputable highly motivated team of individuals.

The main goal of a Lightning Protection Engineer at LPUK Group will be to provide a high quality of Lightning Protection and Specialist Earthing services to the tasks you are given to BS EN 62305.
Job Description
As a Lightning Protection Engineer at LPUK Group, you will support your team in providing a quality service to our clients assisting in building the best reputation we can, providing a high standard of work to BS EN 62305
The role is Monday to Friday. 45 Hours a week
Key duties include but are not limited to:

To support your colleagues where required
-
Produce site audits based on the works being completed onsite

Attend works on building sites and complete site inductions in a timely manner

Identify any lightning protection issues and rectify them
-
Test and fault find Lightning Protection Systems

Vehicle maintenance such as oil checks, water checks, screen wash also ensuring tools and stock are kept to a good standard

Be responsible for your own hand tools/ drills/ harness and keep them in a good state of repair reporting to senior management where assistance is required

Completing training throughout the role

Ensuring a high level of customer service at all times

Follow design drawings when Installing Lightning Protection
-
Ensure consistency when completing daily tasks such as during testing or installations pasting joints, maintaining neat, tidy and quality works, keeping your work area clean and free from debris

Is happy to travel to various locations across the country, accommodation is booked for you and expenses are paid on the day of lodging, materials are all provided for you but where extras are bought for business emergency you are paid immediately
Skills required:
NVQ Lightning Protection qualification (NVQ Level 2 or above)
Full clean driving licence
Good time keeping/ punctual
Hardworking
Dedicated
Keen
Organised
